Where to buy furniture in Foshan: Lecong and Longjiang, one map

The answer is not one market but two belts with different jobs. Go to the wrong one and the trip is wasted.

Lecong: the showroom strip

The ten-li furniture avenue and the big malls (Shunlian, Tuanyi and others) show complete ranges in real settings—ideal for settling your style and budget.

But many Lecong stores are shop-in-shops backed by Longjiang factories or resellers, with 20–30% markup over the production end. Come to Lecong to look and compare, not to buy at the sticker price.

Longjiang: the production end

Upstream of Lecong sit thousands of factories—sofas, soft beds, solid wood, custom work. The same item, factory-direct in Longjiang, typically runs a clear step below the Lecong showroom price because there is no display layer in between.

This is where you go once you know what you want: ask the ex-factory price for the exact same model, walk the workshop, and check materials where they are made.

The one-day pattern that works

Morning in Lecong: look, photograph, compare three stores for the same style. Midday in Longjiang: take the photos to source factories and ask the direct price—the gap is immediately visible. Afternoon: verify materials, negotiate, sign.

Why not rush factories alone? Two traps: factories do not take unintroduced retail buyers, and half the “factory direct” signs hide resellers. A local guide gets partner pricing and tells real factories from resellers at a glance.

Logistics: dedicated furniture lines leave from the belt to all over the country and overseas ports—arrange shipment on the spot the same day instead of making a second trip.

Common questions

Should I shop in Lecong or Longjiang?

Look and compare in Lecong's showrooms, then take the same model to Longjiang's factories for the ex-factory price. Buy at the production end, not the display end.

How much cheaper is Longjiang than Lecong?

For the same model and materials, factory-direct in Longjiang typically runs a clear step below the Lecong showroom price, since there is no showroom markup layer.

Can I visit factories without a local guide?

Practically no—most factories do not receive unintroduced retail buyers, and many “factory direct” signs are resellers. A local guide opens doors and filters fakes.

How do I get the furniture home after buying?

Dedicated furniture logistics lines operate right next to the belt; shipments nationwide and to export ports can be arranged the same day on the spot.
